Spence got punched by an airbag. He took harder shots in fights and I'm sure his punch resistance isn't diminished. Any issues that show up in the ring will probably be psychological (gun shy).
He flew through the air and hit the ground and had to get all new teeth. His punch resistance could be gone that's a legitimate concern going into this fight.
Spence will handle Danny Garcia with ease. I want to see Spence vs. Crawford, two "A" level fighters.
Its sad . I have been wondering lately. what if he is really damaged goods at this point , and he said he doesnt want a tune up fight because ; a tune up fight could expose the damage he now suffers from. If he loses to a top fighter like Garcia; less is lost and can probably score another big fight , collect his money and retire. This is a better scenario than fighting a tune up and getting beat up but scrapes by in a fight he should win easily. Maybe I am reaching a little but I am a big fan of Spence and I would not want this result but fear this is what I am going to get.
Garcia does have good timing and a good left hook. I just see Spence using his length and boxing ability to wear Garcia down and having Garcia only trying to land the big left from the 9th round on. But, if he lands that left, things can change quickly.
Not only this, but how Errol is mentally after that accident. If he starts thinking about an re-injuring himself during the fight, it could go all downhill.
You can't duck someone who isn't trying to fight you either. You seem to think this whole Crawford vs WW is all one sided...
Yea i agree. Ive said this before. Theres alot of questions marks about spence rn, and Danny is going to come to fight. This fight is hella dangerous for spence.
The accident may have affected Spence like a bad beatdown. Or not. Imagine if that were true though, Thurman becomes the top dog once again at welterweight over at the PBC yard.
Anyone who survived rolling over a car at 100+ MPG and getting thrown to the street is invincible. That's my take on this fight. Spence UD 12.
I think it's hilarious how so many people said Danny would be a cherrypick for 42 year old Pac, but is a dangerous fight for Spence. Yes, Spence was in an accident, but Pac is much smaller and ancient and could be completely shot the next time he enters the ring.
