Some of you may remember former IBO Cruiserweight champion Ezra Sellers from his wars with Carl Thompson and Alex Stewart. I'm sad to say he passed away early this morning. He was a beast in the ring but one of the kinder men I've ever met. I'm proud to have called him a friend.

    RIP Champ

I remember watching that one live; after Thompson had gotten up a second time to then floor Sellers a second time you almost laughed at how unpredictable the fight was.

The oh-so-short right hook finish by Ezra was superb.

    Rest in Peace.

He apparently had complications related to a recent heart issue. These issues sprang up over the past 2-3 months. Before that he was doing fine and training people.

Yeah, 45 is way too young.

    Really sad news, RIP champ

Ezra was one of the most naturally heavy handed fighters I've ever seen

Ezra's insane power and kill-or-be-killed mentality led to some wildly entertaining fights.

RIP to one of the most exciting cruiser-weights of this, or any other, generation.
