    It seems like every day we lose a fighter we have great memories of. Frankie is no exception a brilliant boxer who won a Commenwealth gold medal and twice fought for the British Middleweight Championship losing to Tony Sibson and Kevin Finnegan.Tremendously talented boxer i for one will never forget

    Sadly Frankie had a tough old time of it after his boxing career ended.
    RIP Frankie no more demons can hurt you now

    He fought Rudi Koopmans..back in the 70,s....hope he,s in a better place now

    Indeed so, read he had a challenging attitude in the amateurs, to point he was overlooked by selectors because of it.

    Though of course Lucas got some revenge at the Commonwealth Games by winning gold fighting for Saint Vincent, beating Englands Carl Speare in the process, who he had beaten in the ABA finals so it should have been Lucas in the English vest not Speare.

    I just found out about him...I was confused cause at first glance I thought isnt Frank Lucas (the gangster) dead already?
