    im shocked as well. never knew what he looked like, but his voice is as familiar to as it gets. i will miss him. RIP.

    RIP. Like so many I really liked him. Seemed a decent chap and he became a part of the fight scene. Hate to see it.

    Thats sad, he was a staple of boxing almost as much as the fighters were

    I hate to lose these great old school boxing folks.

    For years whenever I watched a bout in which Mr Lederman commented, my scorecard would inevitably match his, point for point, round for round. What great enthusiasm he displayed on his broadcasts! Boxing is a very tough business - a tough business that produces great people. And that's what Mr Lederman always was.

    Somehow, I feel as if I've lost an old friend, just as happened when we lost John Garfield (Joe Rein).

    Will be sorely missed.

    Never liked him. Always thought he was a drunk idiot. But he was a mainstay and a legend in his own right. RIP
