    would loved to have seen him fight naz,didnt he sign to fight him but got arrested for some drug related problem???

    Not sure J, not sure about that, give me some time to do some research, I'm on a course today so I have some downtime.

    Tapia reminded me of Gatti, Corrales, Ward and the like...you would have to hit the c**t with a shovel to get him out of there....

    I would argue for Corrales, that kid could bang, was ring savvy. But never mind, buddy. Let's remember the great man. I have a career set of Tapia...might plunder that later tonight....:good

    We'll agree to disagree, buddy. If you don't have any ring savvy....how the hell did he get Castillo out of there?

    A great man on here John Garfield was ringside that fight, allegedly there was very little thrown that didn't land.:good

    I think we've got different perceptions of ring savvy. Having no defence and being exciting does not=savvy IMO.

    As you said, another time, another place. R.I.P Tapia.

    ...though I still rate Gatti and Corrales as talented.
