    Rip to a great fighter a true fighter in everything he did my thought are with his family
    Years from now people will always remember tapia story its tragic it ended young

    Received a letter and some autographed photos from Tapia when I was 16 years old. A treasured possession. It was prior to his bout with Nana Konadu. Not sure how many on here are familiar with Konadu, but he was an extremely talented fighter himself. The lead up for Tapia's battle with Danny Romero was incredible. A shame that fight didn't take place in Albuquerque. RIP champion.
