One of the better pure talents that the heavyweight division has ever seen. Pretty good power, and remarkable hand speed for someone his size.

i havent heard of him dying??? i know he was battling liver cancer but no news on his death/ is this a hoax

 

I think he battered and sexually assaulted her.

Not a good person, really, in many ways.

in any event, I hope that he found forgiveness in life and peace in death.

Wow, he was one of my favourite heavies at the time, great war with Holy! R.I.P. Champ!

RIP . He died way too young. I met him when I lived in Southern California years ago at the Irvine Marriotte in I think 1990. He was standing near a popcorn machine and I got his autograph. He was pretty big. I was amazed Holyfield fought a guy that big. So I know it was right after Evander fought him.

 

RIP champ. Dokes, always gave his best.

Yeah, that crime he was convicted of was absolutely disgusting.

Good fighter though. His bout with Evander was arguably the best HW bout of the 80s.
