    Belfast’s Hugh Russell, who won a bronze medal at the 1980 Moscow Olympics, has passed away aged 63 after a short illness.

    Russell also won a bronze medal at the 1978 Edmonton Commonwealth Games.

    I read the link you posted, he came across as a lovely guy. Was interesting to see the spread of people commentating, as class an act in his career behind the lens as he proved in the ring.

    He was the last fighter to contest the British title in a 15rdr.
