May you rest in peace, Omar Henry!

I didn't know too much about his career until this cancer problem was disclosed, but it's good to hear that he sparred with the best of them. They must have thought good things of him to bring him in for top level sparring.

Very sad news to hear. Just shows to never take anything for granted in life. Anything can happen to anyone. I know it sounds cliche but you really have to live life whilst you can.

    God bless his soul.

    RIP Champ.

Some good memories from Rashad Holloway:

Around 2005 I started getting messages from a kid on MySpace who was an amateur boxer and he really admired my fighting style. We kept in touch and in 2006 when I moved to Houston Texas he actually lived there and asked if he could meet me. We met and became pretty cool over the years. I moved to LA and when he turned pro he made some noise as a prospect but losing sight of what was real and became "Hollywood". He was still a good dude just confused and needed guidance. I would talk to him about his issues at times on the phone and when I'd visit Vegas where he stayed we would meet up and just talk. With me he was different cuz he knew and respected me. I shared a lot and so did he. This morning I wake up and see on Andre Andre Dirrell IG that he passed. I have no words for how I feel. See u when I get there Champ
