    No need to redeem myself.

Does that face to the left look like Mark Ant?

Does my writing in any way resemble that of Mark Ant ?

Did you read the article attached to my previous post? Unless the source is lying, I am spot on about what happened regarding Pernell's family using the house that was in HIS NAME.

I'll continue to post here and honor the memory of Matthew Saad Muhammad for many years to come.

Buddy McGirt recalled his two fights with Sweet Pea. Good stuff.
He mentions Whitaker's power downstairs. Those of us who were fans know Pernells was stronger than people realized.

I had a chance to see him live in his prime. It was up in Reno and he was still the lightweight champ. He was fighting Jorge Paez who had been a Featherweight Champion.
It was another day at the office for SweetPea.

You're not Mark because despite his odd thought process, I've never seen Mark get as sincerely out of line as you. Mark doesn't go personal.

When did he go personal? (other than the time he called me a snowflake)

He’s certainly behind Roy Jones but he’s got a good case for #2.

I want to know more of the facts. If he gave her the house as a gift but just never filed the paperwork to formally make it hers as a matter of law, then his family wasn’t leeching off of him and his behavior is ethically dubious (at best).

Damn. Never thought my granddad would outlive him. We watched him when I was a kid.

Not as bad as another poster writing that Whitaker’s death was karma for evicting his mother 5 years ago but I hear you—very insensitive and unnecessary.

We owe the dead the truth, but assuming the worst straight away is disrespectful. It's understandable to think it but keep it to yourself FFS.

I agree because Pea was already near the top and champion in the late 80s.
