    Great trainer trained arguably the best male boxer in history Floyd Mayweather and best female boxer in history the beautiful Laila Ali. I particularly liked how he developed Floyd Jnr from the foundations established by Big Floyd making Floyd Jnr a more attacking attraction. Bad week for the Royal Family of boxing the Mayweathers with the passing of baby mama to Floyd’s kids Josie Harris and Uncle Roger Mayweather the original Black Mamba and Mexican Killer which were his nicknames . As a fighter he was a great boxer 2 division world champion. I remember him coming into the ring wearing the Sombrero defeating top class Mexican contenders until eventually the great Julio Cesar Chavez the greatest ever from the great land of Mexico beat Uncle Roger. Great trainer, great fighter and boxing historian.

    I am going to watch an episode of Mayweather-DelaHoya 24/7 to remember Roger.
    His quotes were legendary.

    RIP Uncle Roger.

    Remember him getting into the ring to confront Judah after his low blow.

    Also, his advise to Floyd in the Hatton fight when he was being successful with right hand leads - "keep throwin' that **** up the middle" lol
