RIP Mamba. His laser of a right hand was one of the best single punches of the 80's.

    Roger's best wins

His ring generalship really stands out in these fights.

Arredondo and Serrano were limited and good management got him these title shots but Roger showed great poise to go into their home turf and perform in a relaxed and confidant manner.

Paz had had two memorable and exciting wars with Greg Haugen. Here, Mayweather lets Paz initiate the action and set a frenetic pace. Roger cooly slips Vinny's frenetic rushes and counters with precisiion and power. Quality over Quantity.

He beat up Vinny Pazienza. And then knocked Lou Duva down with a right hand in the ring afterward.

That was a quality day all around.
