    This guy worked 10 hours a day aside from boxing. WTF how did he even train.

    I don't think Asian boxing is very well sanctioned or ran. You get guys who are 30-0 fighting people making their debut or who have lost every fight they've had, it's a recipe for disaster.

    Damn man. RIP.

    Man it seems a lot of Korean guys seem to die in the ring. There might something really wrong with the training of referees on stoppages. We hear about this WAY too much. I would much rather "boo" an early stoppage than hear sad news like this.

    KOreans usually have the macho attitude and the boxers are no different.. DUring Training, they dont really practice the technical aspect, instead, they emphasize offense.. Too much offense.. The trainers would tell their fighters to take a few punches to land their own..

    That's why my man JI HOON KIM desperately needs a new trainer.

    I completely agree. He will be horribly stopped by a fast accurate boxer puncher. He is an AMAZING fighter too. I had butterflies opening this thread because I thought it might be him.

    Not that this makes this any less tragic. RIP.
