(RIP Spence) Mikey Garcia Showing Bone Crushing Powa; Sound Like Shotgun Blasts!!!

I think Garcia CAN win. If he can avoid Spence's murderous bodyshots and use timing and counters, he can win. Spence tends to put a lot of purchase on each punch and is very exposed to counters. A guy like Canelo for example would put Spence to sleep.

In the Brook fight, Brook did ok but he didn't fight smart and Spence just came forward all night.

 

I don’t see anything special in this video. And Mikey looks slow. I understand you guys are still sore that Spence destroyed Brook, but Mikey is not even Brook. He’ll get destroyed too.

 

It seems like their plan is to fight off the back foot. So, Mikey needs to be well conditioned to move away from Spence for all 12 rounds. He also needs to be big enough in order for his punches to take effect on Spence. And he's jumping two weight divisions for this fight...

Yeah and the thing about Spence is that he doesn't really tire out. Spence is hittable but he certainly doesn't allow a guy to sit and admire their shots, he comes right back. When I say Garcia can win, he really can't afford many mistakes.

I think this version of Garcia probably beats any Welter not named Spence.

Two things, Spence responded well, knew what to do. Second, Spence was lucky the bell rang when it did.

Spence is naturally bigger & will set the pace.

Mikey will be blowing late and tap out, Robert will towel him late I bet my life on it.

 

This may be what the Garcias are banking on. It opens up other lucrative fights at WW even if Mikey loses to Spence. May prove to be a savvy move. After all, the name of the game is making the most amount of money in the shortest amount of time while taking the least amount of damage.
