    Former junior middleweight 3-time world title boxing contender Troy Waters has died at the age of 53 following a long battle with leukemia. RIP

    Knew Troy fairly well, top bloke, went to a benefit night a couple of years ago at Terrigal when he was first diagnosed. Saw most of his last dozen fights which weren't overseas. the best of 3 brothers who fought from day dot under the tutelage of a very driven and controlling father (a story in itself).

    To be honest i have never heard of Troy Waters, but it's always sad when someone passes away.
