The good ones go young. Met him 20 years ago in Las Vegas. He was a young fighter on the way up who made the effort to come up into the stands to where we were to shake hands & pose for photos.

RIP young fella.

 

Cancer is such an indiscriminate puta and always seems to take the people that least deserve it

Geez, it feels like I just saw him taking on Charlo, Lara and Golovkin. Rest in peace, Vanes, and may God be with your family.

Very sad news for such a young man to be taken like this.
