This is very sad,shocking news...doesn't seem yesterday he was fighting Hagler for the World middleweight championship... Time is moving too quickly... Rest in peace.
Sad to hear, way to young, only 55, did he have cancer, or have a heart attack?? Rugged tough 80's fighter, I remember his fight with Hamsho he was getting an ass whupping but kept coming, guy had balls of steel..

Tough contender, but didn't he have some demons? I seem to remember reading that he got into a hair raising brawl with the equally unstable Bruce Curry at a gym. Evidently the two exchanged words before Sypion started lobbing barbells at Curry and his (Sypion's) own trainer/manager. Still, very sad news.
