I bought one, have had it about a week. So far so good, I am pretty happy with it and would buy it again.

"Cardio does not help with fat loss." Laughed and closed the video.

That was obviously an off the mark soundbyte meant to sound cool for marketing; that just comes with the capitalist territory, but they could have phrased that in a different way that does align with the view of many fitness professionals - namely that aerobic exercise is overrated as the sole factor in weight loss (ignoring sensible diet and strength training altogether). Cardio alone being the magical key to weight loss is as much an old lingering myth as people being able to spot burn specific areas.

You have to by looking at the mechanics of this piece of equipment at least recognize that it could provide good resistance training for your front and medial delts, and maybe hit some other groups with varying efficacy.

I never had any intention of buying the stick or whether it's any good for it's proposed use. I'm just saying that I watched a bit of the video to see what the product was about, but clearly the developers/sellers are clueless and or liars.

I didn't see that ad in relation to this product but I have seen a guy with meticulously groomed sideburns make that claim.
Two weeks into using the Ripstick, I feel it was worth the money. I was in very good shape going in. What I have found is that the Ripstick really targets the shoulders, back and upper chest.
