Assikainen for sure was (is?) a very good fighter. But I felt he could have reached more than he did.

    Today: 3 first round knockouts

Eemeli Katajisto's 3 fight. Stops Hantak in the first round. Earler this year Hantak went to the distance with Tony Averlant (sauerland's nightmare) and with some others decent european level competors.. Katajisto looks promising and that was a impressive result cause Hantak has survived to the distance with many good fighters.

Niko Jokinen stops his determined and game opponent in the first round with a HUGE left hook. What a sweet ko and a big confidence boost! Must see! :good

Edis Tatli's first title match and outcome couldn't be any better! Tatli TKO's his Italian opponent in the first round and future looks very promising to him! So fast and skillful. Amazing talent and maybe the whole world will hear something about him?

Tatli is stiff, upright shite of a boxer, Katajisto has even less potential than Tatli has. Jokinen has some potential, but Robert Helenius is still only boxer worth mentioning from Finland at the moment. No one else is looking to make any noise in any division. Unless Haapoja makes an upset in his next bout.

Okay I respect your opinion but why so irritated?

What did Katajisto wrong there? His third fight and landed with every shot without taking any punches? Stopped and totally brutalized a guy who went to the distance with Tony Averlant and Eduard Gutknecht? I mean he had no answer that he could see the second round.

Tatli is a little stiff but he is superb fast with his hands and feets. He is about to step up but still.. I don't even remember when was the last time that he lost a round? Yeah maybe not a future worldchampions but cmon? Tatli gives a lot to handle for anyone with his style.

    Thanks for the effort!
It's always a good thing whenever the entire boxing community grows up!
All the finnish boxers are welcome! Unfortunately boxe is still not enough popular compared to other sports in too many countries, let's hope it will change and become bigger and bigger.

I'd said it before and I'll say it again. My parents are immigrants to the US, and like most Asian and European immigrants to the US, they are more likely to be richer and more wealthier than even your average American white.

Europe's welfare states makes it so that most women don't give birth, this is countered by taking in much poorer quality of immigrants (the same groups Poles, ****stanis, Lithuainians are doctors lawyers Silicon Valley startup founders who make jobs and spur innovation in one country, and waiters, taxi drivers, bus boys in another).

Considering boxing has a strong correlation with people of poorer economic background (Irish, black, latino) expect a lot more Eastern Europeans and Muslim immigrant boxers showing up in Euro circuits.

Sadly most of them will probably suck. Other than those coming out of Southern Europe (few since they tend to be economically well off countries)and ****stanis growing up in the UK, Euros lack some serious rythem in boxing. Lots of good strong French North Africans punchers, great conditioning but the guys have no iq, no rythem, poor trainers.

On the US side Latin American children are already scoring lower than African American kids (post-Obama election) in school test scores on a national level. So expect in 20-25 years time to see a good number of Latin American boxers dominating American divisions
