Just got the complete footage of this 1913 lightweight title fight vs Joe Rivers. The early rounds were pretty close but once Richie got going, Rivers was being beating pretty handly(Around round 5 or so), it would be only a matter of time before Ritchie would have stop Rivers,(and he did)

I never had Ritchie in the top ten lightweights, base on few great victorys over Wolgast, and perhaps Rivers. He face a good herd of fighters like Lewis and Dundee, but they ended up as either draws or ND's bouts. I think I can sneak Ritchie in the top 12 perhaps. I was highly impress with Ritchie boxing ablily. He could move, and he could hit. He lay Rivers out pretty well. He is no Benny Leonard, but he is impressive still.

Were would you guys put Ritchie on a all time great lightweight list?

Ritchie is one of the best looking fighters of that era.
