Ritson smashes Crolla and Burns on the same night IMO. And I say that as an admirer of Burns. No shortage of respect for Crolla either. But I am fully on board the Lewis Ritson train. He's just brilliant. Not unbeatable by any means, but it'll take something and someone brilliant to beat him. I can't wait to watch how far he goes. I love everything about him. And I think either Crolla or Burns next would be perfect opponents. Wether or not they'd want to fight Ritson is another matter though.

Very impressive Lewis Ritson. The UK now have defeated Lucas Browne and Kris George on UK soil. However our best fighter is George Ferocious Kambosos Jr 14 - 0 8 ko. George is promoted by Lou DiBella and trained by Pacquiao ex conditioning trainer Aust Justine Fortune. George has shown a keen interest in fighting in UK and fighting Anthony Crolla and i'm sure Ritson is now on the radar. Lou make the match with Eddie. George is currently working in Philippines as Pacquiao chief sparring partner for his up coming title fight challenge with Matthysse.

Harrison was a better boxer than Ritson moog. There's similarities but Harrison had a very good defence. Ritson's looks easier to hit than Harrison's from what I've seen so far.

I agree with you, but the quality in lightweight division currently is not near the quality of featherweight division Harrison fought in, so Ritson will be able steam through most of division with ease.

I can see the Harrison comparisons but he seems to punch a lot harder he’s just walking through and destroying decent UK level fighters

Ritson doesn't bring anything Crolla hasn't seen before - he's a front runner with power and strength who tries to take people out from the opening bell. Crolla is good at drawing the sting from fighters like that, figuring them out and neutralising their strengths before taking over later on. Ritson isn't proven at anything above domestic level yet and hasn't to my knowledge been in the kind of dogfight Crolla specialises in. However, he has been very impressive at that level and whilst he is basic in some ways and is open defensively, he is very good at what he does and seems to be only improving, whilst Crolla is in his 30s and physically maybe not quite what he used to be. Interesting matchup.

The Harrison comparison is a good one, not least in he's massive at the weight, but also the perils of making an un natural weight, lessons to be learned from the Harrison fable. I'll be amazed if he's still a lightweight in two years, the next weight up is far more interesting for him anyways with Taylor, Davies, Catterall etc.

Does he bully Luke Campbell?? I think he does actually.

Billy did a great job with Lewis and I know he was gutted when he decided to head back home! Just to correct you though it was the WBC Silver Youth Title that Lewis won not the full WBC Sliver Title. Never the less it was still a good fight and title so early in his career.

Billy Nelson take some stick on here and the job he done with Ricky Burns was amazing.

Looking at Burns since he left Nelson, even though he won another World Title against Bepe Di Marco from Eastenders, he has never looked anything more then 35% of the fighter Billy Nelson trained and developed.

Never heard of Lewis Ritson until Billy talked him up on here a couple of years ago and a few should be eating humble pie after Ritson's recent performances.
