Eddie just announced thus fight on his twitter. On a NXTGen show. I remember murray pulllng out of a finsl eliminater with ritson to 'persue other routes' which he never did btw. I reckon Ritson will stop him tbh altho this would be ritsons toughest fight, i do think helk stop him late. And from what ive seen of joe murray in recent interviews, it may be the final nail in his coffin. Good fight tho
Be good to watch but will be pretty one sided imo. I think Ritson will do a clinic on him and stop him. Levels better.
Couldn't they put this on the Khan card? Tbf decent for NXTGen though which we have all complained about for having so many mismatches.
Am not buying in the hype off one win if the Murray can show the form he did in the close fight with Ryan Walsh I would pick Murray but I think his getting Murray at the right time lol Murray really did waste his prime didn't he
This will be a nice run out for Ritson. He will break down Murray’s spirit with those body shots. He mixes his shots up so well. He doesn’t take his foot off the gas. He maintains that constant pressure, cutting off the ring but keeping a nice distance to get full punishing leverage on his shots.
Imo u shouldn't b allowed to b a volentary defence if u have pulled out of a final eliminator the board ordered but it happens alot. Saying that it' a good tho fancy ritson for a late stoppage in a competitive fight
I don' know if Ritsons been injured or something as I expected him have been busier since joining Matchroom. He definetly looks like one who could go he whole way and if given the right fights might only be 3-4 fights away from a World Title fight as he looks a special talent. If as I expect he bests Murray well I think him v Ricky Burns would be a good fight next.
