I know many of you don't use the speed bag, but I enjoy it and find it good for arm/shoulder workouts and a fun way to burn some calories. I've been using a big, slow Everlast 13x9 gyro bag for a long time. Last week I upgraded to the Rival in the smallest (5x8 ) size: This content is protected http://store.titleboxing.com/rival-new-generation-speed-bag.html Thought I might have trouble with the smaller, faster size, but I didn't. Went right to work on it and its a lot of fun. Its a nice bag. Leather and seams are well done and doesn't leak air (Everlast leaked) and rebounds perfectly. I'll post some video of me using it when I get a chance. Thought I'd post this in case anyone out there is looking to pick up a nice speed bag at a good price. Its my first piece of Rival gear and everything I've read about them seems to be true. Good quality equipment.

Quick clip I recorded today, messing around with single rebound speed bagging. Its a lot harder than it looks. Anyone here able to do it any better than me? [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qyLv-lNgaLo[/ame]
Its back up now. The end of the video (some heavybag work) is messed up, not sure why. I took it down and uploaded it a couple times hoping to fix it, but its not working. Anyway, the speedbag stuff is in the beginning and works fine. Check it out at the link above or here: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qyLv-lNgaLo[/ame]
their speedbags are unreal but the swivels arent the best. the pin that holds it all together kept coming loose, as a result the bolt on top came loose and couldnt be tightened. i took mine into the shop yesterday, drilled it out and put a cotter pin into it to keep it in place, also had to spot weld the bolt on top so it wouldnt come loose again. had to do a few other things too, wasnt painted or logo'ed like they said it was. luckily i have access to a shop to fix it all, most people would end up having to buy a new one. works fine now tho
