What is Barak even talking about?

They're both skilled but too feather-fisted to really put their stamp on this. Neither has reacted hurt even when the other lands solidly. They also both want to lay back and counter so there are stretches of just staring at each other.

 

Oh yeah, Barry Jones is here btw. He joined the broadcast team a couple of fights ago.

 

Jones keeps pronouncing Maitse's name like "my tea", ignoring the fact that literally nobody else is. (Erdman for instance is saying it more like "muh-tsay", which seems correct)

With his thick Welsh accent it really sounds when he occasionally pipes in with some random insight like he's just really concerned about someone touching his cup of tea.

Okay, screw this, I'm fast-forwarding through the literal dozenth Itauma-Whyte commercial I've seen today.

So, it was actually Qamili's bout in the previous stage (versus Holy Dorgbetor, whom I picked to beat him ...but I wasn't alone in that) - along with Milun vs. Łącz - that first drew my attention onto the Grand Prix earlier this summer.

I'd heard of it back in the spring, but didn't pay it much heed.

(...Milun vs. Łącz being another that we all got wrong )

 

Both of Troy Nash's middle names make me want to throw up.

 

Nash, nineteen, spars with Keyshawn & Shakur. Shows in his style.

 

Nash making Qamili look what he is: basic.

Worth noting that, while Qamili dominated rounds 2-5, it may have been in large part due to Dorgbetor sustaining a nasty cut from a butt in the 1st.
