Infamous sparring session? Elaborate a bit, I am unaware of this story...

 

I think he's talking about the time Roy Jones supposidly schooled Sugar Ray Leonard in a sparring session.

 

Hmmmm....well there are alot of variables there. But it wouldn't completely surprise me.

 

Apparently he schooled Scully as well from what I heard. I don't put to much stock in rumours though.

 

Apparently Roy's most exciting fight in the ams was his loss to GMan. Even though Gerald won the fight, he still coudln't spar a month later due to a badly swollen jaw.

 

I just read that....I am told that was not their only fight though. I wonder which is true.

 

A friend of mine told me that they went 1-1 as amateurs.
