What's up, Ding?? Have you been getting my periodic emails that I send to all the boxers in my address book?? Good to see you on here, too.

As for that photo..ibelieve it was at the gym you speak of...but I am honestly not sure... from what Iknow it was the gym that SRL trained at. I mean, Roger was there every day,Ray was there and Pappy Gault was, too.

    I'm a Brit (staying up too late)!

I remember your name because we had a decent set of middles at the time you were fighting and I was buying a lot of the American magazines.

Gaz, I have a good boxing friend you might know named Cornelius Carr. Also, I spent time in London (rained a lot LOL) back in 1997 when Otis Grant was there training for the fight with Spice Boy

Ice...being a middle. How do you think you would fair against JT. And do you see him as a talent, or just a good amateur that got glorified into the next best thing.

JT is good and truth be told 160 was far from my best weight (BAD troubles making weight back then) so I would not have stepped in at 160 with someone of his caliber.

Aye!! I remember Carr, he was a good domestic level fighter who never made the step up. He looked awesome coming up but never made the big jump.

The Spice Boy is still fighting (or was as of last year!) BTW.

While you're on I've got to ask you.....

    Whats your best win?

    The best fighter you fought?

    SRL, Nice guy?

    Gaz

Nunn and Maske were the best...as amateur it was Darin Allen and Lamar Parks...best win as pro probably Billy Bridges or Art Baylis, Alphonso Bailey maybe (IMO). Sugar Ray and I always got along well.... he's very sociable and cool in private, yes

I'm glad you said Art Bayliss, that looks the best win to me as well.

Did you come over here as a sparring partner for Otis Grant when he fought Rhodes?

Yes, I was with Otis for three full weeks (we trained at the LYNN A.C. in London) ...only reason I left before the fight was I had to get back to the states for my own fight on ESPN.... while we were there we went and watched another frequent sparring partner of mine,Vinny Paz, in his fight with Bomber.
