So what happens - Bowe was uncomfortable for a couple of rounds against the fast Hide - Can the faster fitter Jones prevail?
I don't see Jones being too competitive, not with a Riddick Bowe of '92 when he was consistently coming to the ring in shape and full of ambition. Too big, and posssessed enough hand speed and ability of his own to land on the much smaller Roy Jones, who simply won't be capable of taking a full bloodied shot from the likes of Big Daddy. Might look competitive in the early goings but it's simply a matter of time.
I've never seen Bowe in shape, you mean consistantly 'not quite as fat' Anyway yes I have to accept my boys limits here, he can beat some of the top cruser HWs but he's not going to dent Bow and will get walked down. Then again if Tubbs outboxes Bowe and Jones gets on his track shoes......nah probably not
I like Jones. I think Bowe plodded too much to catch up with him. Hide was like a much worse version of Jones, but still won the first two rounds.
:yep Indeed. The fight with Hide is being endlessly referenced in here, but Bowe had lost a step by that point and Hide was troubling Bowe with his power, the kind of power that Jones doesn't possess as a Heavyweight. Nah, Jones is getting starched.
Jones gets walked down. Don't kid yourselves people. The man didn't want to step in the ring with an old Buster Douglas.
