Because its an accurate comment, that's why? Jones is a complete shell or his former self. All the talk of him being on a winning streak, on a roll, you can throw that out of the window.

Maybe this will sound a but harsh & do a dis-service to Jones, but if Calzaghe doesn't take care of business comprehensively, then that's a poor showing by Joe in my view.

Jones is a shot fighter & if Joe doesn't win comfortably, then maybe he's starting to slip more than we have realised!

Maybe b'cause he knows that his big winning chance is all standing on Joe Calzaghe's shoulders or based on the fact that Calzaghe may break one last time... Listen, this is all major garbage compared with Hopkins who wanted to make him fall into a trap and take him outa there or Pavlik who simply wanted and wants to nail him through the defence shield... Roy is playing with intangibles and putting pressure off him, which is almost the same thing to say that he wants at least to get payed.

A person says that stuff when either their nervous.
They know they are going to fail and are trying to buffer it (or at least think that chances are likely they will fail).
    Or.
They can't deal with the pressure.
