Roy better off fight Hopkins instead of JC. Both belong to the fight in spurts, 40s club. Judging by their recent performances, both won't knock each other out because they don't have the stamina for it and because they both are defensive minded technicians. There should be alot of clinching, feintings, showboatings made to order for the diehard boxing fans who revel in the subtlety of techniques. Diehards fans are suckers for this kind of drama eventhough its not worth $49.95.
It would not suprise me if Hopkins now decides to fight Roy instead of JC.

Didnt watch the fight last nite but I know what your refering to from the Hanshaw fight....he had him in trouble..then gave him a breather instead of going in for the kill...which is what we all want to see...why string a beaten man along for shits and grins?? Finish him already:fire

Hard luck man. I was a bit disapointed with Roy, I felt he could have taken Tito out when ever he wanted. He would have a couple of years ago. His reflex's are nowhere near what they used to be.

No way roy beats joe c now :-( you have to fight for 300 secs a round not 20.
Still i actualy enjoyed the fight, just wish roy had of gone in for the kill after the first knockdown he just seemed to lay off.

Yeah, still he should have taken him out. It is boxing respect before and respect after. Inside the ropes he should have tried to knocked him out. Lost me £20 also:lol: :-(.

It's more than obvious that Jones rises to the level of his competition...however I do think Joe would give him a good fight and probably win a decision as Joe can't test Roy's chin like a true LHW would:good Do you really think you saw the best Roy had to offer last nite?...I've watched bits and pieces of the fight last nite and Roy still has it:good

Roy is fast for his age but not in his division... I think RJJ is lack of power now and will be defeated by Joe if they meet, RJJ please retire...
