If he beat lewis i dont see why he would retire. Your basically asking whether SRR or Roy Jones was G.O.A.T. It reminds me of a thread where someone broke down SRR career highlighting the HOF'ers he beat and fought and the all the ranked opponents. What's funny is many actually starting picking Jones over Lewis after Lewis' performance against Vitali. Right after Jones lost to Tarver he loses to all.

NO way this could even come true. When he faught ruiz, I said the following prior to the fight "he is facing the right and only guy with a belt he can beat". Ruiz not being a huge heavyweight and a guy who jones could easily out flash.

 

Roy weighed 200 for Ruiz.

 

Not only that but Lewis, didn't train much in 03, RJJ might have been able to get a UD against the Lewis that fought Vitali. After all Lewis had Zero stamina and was quite slow and sluggish that night.
