Conteh had a chance, but Jones slightly did everything better. IMO Galindez wouldnt pose that much a problem. He cut in fights, he had underrated skills but slick boxers gave him trouble and none came slicker than Jones at lightheavyweight. Galindez' pressure and strength will trouble Jones but his foot speed and handspeed would be the difference. Like I said before Spinks and Qawi are the only ones I can definitely see beating Jones. Bob Foster wasnt in that era. The era started after he retired. If they did fight though I have to go with Jones. Both dominated average eras during there reign but there dominance over good fighters illustrated their greatness. Although standing 6'3" he didnt fight tall like your basic 1, 2 lanky kayo artist. He liked to mix it up inside and mid range. His foot speed left much to be desired and Foster was troubled by more skilled, faster movers. Neither guy had a great chin and could be hurt but Foster packed the far harder one-punch power. Jones had the skill to outslick Foster and avoid the big bombs. IMO Jones beats Foster. Foster struggled with good fighters with boxing skills, I dont think he'd beat this great fighter with great boxing skills. His unorthodox style would take Foster some time to figure out and he'd already be behind on points only way Foster wins is by Kayo and I dont see him knocking out a prime Jones. Jones UD.

 

Foster wouldnt be fighting 35 year old Jones he'd be fighting in his prime. Yes Foster hits way harder but u cant kayo what you cant hit and a prime Jones wont be there against the ropes to be hit.
