Man I wish that vid was still on youtube where Jones answered questions from various boxing critics and it was explained, not simply by Jones, but confirmed by Lampley, that contracts were not only offered, but paydays that would've been career highs for many of those guys. Only these haters think otherwise. Jones ducked no one, and I don't believe anyone really ducked him.
Roy Jones will be KO'd in the first exchange in the first round of his next fight. Hopkins will paw out a jab as a rangefinder, it will brush past Jones' chin lightly, and his Glass Jaw will be shattered. Hopkins will get an unintentional KO. :rofl This fight will be a huge anticlimax. It will end in another embarrassing KO loss for Roy Jones, courtesy of a pawed jab from Hopkins.
if i remember correctly, that was hopkins' first shot at a world title. prior to that he was just a contender. His style was basically to stalk his opponents and we all know hopkins got better as he got older. I don't remeber it too well but James toney was supposed to be so weight drained for his fight with Roy Jones he was lethargic all through out the fight
rjj is becoming the biggest joke of all time. now saying he lost to danny green as the "stoppage was too early". c'mon rjj was it wraps, or was it too early? you interview after the fight said lost fair and square and the stoppage was not too early. go away and retire before you get ko'd again by the feather fisted hopkins!
roy has more excuses than a politician. he would gain more respect from the public if he was just honest and said "i've been exposed as a fraud. i have ducked the best competition, i have a glass jaw, i have no heart, and i have no plan B when the going gets tough"
you idiot what you meant to say was...."i whooped ass like nobodies business in my prime...but now i'm way past it and can't admit that i can't do it anymore"
nah.. IMO he's definitely at par with those two guys skill-wise. he just never had the same level of opposition.
