It was pretty sloppy. I love any type of fight, and this was a tactal fight and it went as expected IMO. It was a bit dirty and I thought there would be a KO and a few more clean shots, but other than that it was pretty much as expected.
It wasn't a good fight, not by long shot. It's a damn shame when the highlight of the fight - the part that gets everyone jumping up cheering is when the guys throw shots after the bell. That acting job Hopkins was doing after getting fouled was ridiculous. Honestly, I watched the fight, but it was actually like I was staring right through the screen. I saw it, but I didn't see it. I couldn't even get interested enough to take note of who was winning the rounds. BOOOOOOOOOO!
I said from the get-go that the only chance we'd see a good fight was if it turned out to be a compelling technical battle, one the was still up for grabs coming down the stretch, but they couldn't even give us that!
Haye/Valuev is the biggest stinker in recent history. This one was bad, but Haye/Valuev was the sort of bad that rewrites historical lows for being godawful.
jesus the ****in hate on here is a joke . hops faked to try and get a dq twice in the one fight but , nah haye was worse for staying away from a guy 100 punds heavier than him ! I hope youre not lonely overon my ignore list , wanker !
just because a guy is a giant flabby oaf that weighs 100 pounds more...a guy as strong as haye looked like a girl running circles around him. he could have stopped valeuv had he engaged,,,as he said he would for months...he takes heat because he didnt try....
