Jones vs Tarver 1 was not a complete and utter robbery.

Somehow by kicking and screaming Tarver managed to convince some people that he won that fight.

Calling me a Dumbass means about as much as a ***** going to church since this is coming from a ******! HELL NO would Bhop beat Oleg, let alone Ruiz.

Most did NOT favor Hop against Oleg...Most said that wasn't a good move to make and Hop knew it. That's why he didn't make the move up to HW. Are you serious or are you just a ****ing clown?:huh

Joe could pack on pounds and hit the HW limit but how well he'd carry the weight in a boxing match is a largely different matter. He is fast and skilled but Joe would most likely get KO'd by a HW.....maybe after winning a few rounds but the outcome would be the same....he'd get his ass knocked out just like Bhop would. Get out of here with this garbage man! It's funny to read but disturbing after figuring out you are serious.:-(

"Through his attorney, Jones admitted he had been taking an over-the-counter product called Ripped Fuel. That's not illegal but it is an anabolic steroid according to the IBF and other other sanctioning bodies.

So he did test positive. He did take Ripped Fuel.

Whether that's what he took or not we don't know, but he did test positive and admitted to taking a steroid.

The IBF chose to do nothing. They wanted a second test to be done. But why take a second test when he failed the first one and admitted to taking a steroid? That's where it ended.

No action was taken. Nobody did anything."

Read that, and then defend him.

Get over what....he's not what you think he is....but his talent is undeniable and what he accomplished is that of ATG's.. And to that point about roids....There are plenty of boxers who could be on Roids and who have flown under the radar. If Roy used illegal drugs to enhance his ability he should be fined or suspended like everyone else. Obviously he was never fined nor suspended so there is something that hasn't been brought to the surface b/c Roy is NOT the favorite son of boxing...if they could, they would have suspended him and fined him.

Wasn't illegal to buy at the time is the key word.

And how do we know that is all he was taking? How do we know it wasn't is the inverse. The fact that you asked the other tells me plenty.

And Jones fought Ruiz after 2002:lol::lol: He looked ordinary after coming down in weight.

The guy who wrote this is clearly a hater, RJJ is the greatest Super Middle of all time, for sheer boxing talent, he is the greatest fighter since Sugar Ray Leonard, RJJ in his prime would have competed well against any of the hall of famers in history .... To even put Calzaghe and Hopkins in the same sentence as Jones is insanity .... If Jones's body had allowed him to stay at 160 or 168 then Hopkins and Calzaghe wouldnt have had much of a career because they would have had to face Jones and like we've already seen with Hopkins, Roy dealt with him easily ..... Hopkins reigned over the weakest middleweight division in history, he beat 2 'name' pumped up welterweights (oscar and tito have no record of any note at 160), and then Bernard got brave enough to step up to light heavy ONLY when Roy wasnt in the picture anymore, Hopkins could have stepped up years before but he knew he could never beat Roy, Hopkins is a solid, awkward fighter, but all these comparisons with Hagler and Monzon are an absolute joke .... As for Calzaghe, hes similar to Hopkins, hes beaten whats been put in front of him, Will 'Kidfire' Mcintyre, Tocker Pudwill, an ancient Brewer and Mitchell and now hes taking on a very ordinary fighter in Kessler, ordinary when you compare him to Jones Jr but the hype has taken over and suddenly Kessler is a stellar talent, its all media bull**** .. an early/ mid 90s Roy Jones Jr would have beaten Calzaghe and Kessler without breaking into much of a sweat just like when he beat Hopkins

You just Destroyed KGs lone Hero & role model. I don't know about this but I believe that if there's smoke there's fire. RJJ definitely will have a Tainted Legacy.

This has got to be one of the most innacurate and poorest threads in ESB history.

You have basically said Roy was nothing without roids.:patsch

AGE= defeat. Not his being off the roids!

So basically Roy was using roids from 1989 till 2002 and without failing a test. Makes sense. :patsch

Even if Roy did take steroids, they don't give you boxing skill or speed.
