Sure he did, yet he probably had more legitimate ATG 'son his resume that many other top 100 ATG ...and lets analyse his loses: -His talented hitting prowess enabled him to move up in weight class over the years, from welterweight up through cruiserweight; Thomas won titles in six modern weight classes -His most impressive wins came against Virgil Hill, Roberto Duran, Wilfred Benitez, "Pipino" Cuevas, Murray Sutherland, Randy Shields, Eddie Gazo, Clyde Gray and Bruce Finch -He won more round agaisnt a TOP 10 ATG, SRL, that lost ones...even though he lost olne and drew the other, IMO he won the 2nd one and was ahead of the card when SRL heart took over. -He fought what is arguably the most exisiting MW ever, came to fight and let it all hangout on that fight... -He fought: 61-5-1 (48 ko'S) -Cholo Espada- former WBA WW titlelist -Pipino Cuevas (HOF) -SRL Twice (ATG) -Wilfred Benites (ATG) -Roberto Duran (ATG) -MMH (ATG) -Roldan -Barkley Twice(HOF) -Hill (HOF) Now that's a ****ing RESUME....
Oh God...look what crawled from the swamp...the biggest nut hugger on ESB...ok folks, EZE is not only the biggest hugger job on ESB, but he is a hugger of the huggers......he is a trip... Sure I am bias with Puerto Rican fighters they are my countrymen, what's wrong with that, I AM PROUD OF MY HERITAGE, and boxing is one of the biggest cultural past time of my country, I can just not bring myself to go against a Puerto Rican fighters...end of the story...many of you remember that I could not bring myself to pick a winner on the Cotto v Quintana fight, I didn't like it and I don;t like when to high profile contenders for PR go against one another... Now back to the issue, what I have said that is not a fact...and if my theories are flawed, proof them ....I challenge you....
I am relax, and yes it was an IBO but at the age he won it, that by itself is a merit, and sure he got KTFO in a number of fights, yet, he won others also....Vinny Paz please does even come close to Hearns BTW, but good try....we knew he did and so did Macho Sr.....so it is not like he is the only one, hell ODLH fall on tha category of 6 weight class holder.... Hearns was a special boxer on a era that was special, and we all enjoyed his bravado against top notch competition, and you can;t argued with that
I am ignoring you, chump..nothing you say is of any value.....basicaly that put you in the hugger category SO STFU...thanks!!:good
right, but I am what I am a Puerto Rican........regardless if we choose it or not, we are and we are proud of it!!! For that matter what anyone is proud of their heritage, becuase the culture grows on you..the same goes for anyone that is proud of their heritage..if you're not...well that;s your thing
Well like I said, if you count the IBO title, I am adding more champions to Jones' resume. He beat a slew of those guys as well. Hell, he just won the IBC title.
It is my understanding that Herb Goldman also have RJJ in the 90 to 100 slot....not what you call top echelon ATG either
Sure not, he is higher in anyones ATG that why......I am not going to argued with you in here the validity of Hearns vs. RJJ, this is a no brainer for anyone that understand boxing.... RJJ had great physical talents, that is undeniable, but just for that reason I will not put him on my list .....end of story, his resume, loses or not, is not even close to Tommy Hearns.......not even close
Not to mention in great shape and would box your pants out...but that said , I will tell you that everyone, and you can check ESPN, The Ring, Bert Sugar, Nat Fleischer, Herb Goldman, Charley Rose, Teddy Atlas, Joe Tassiotore, and many others all...ranked Tommy Hearns far higher than RJJ....far higher...so junior Chill out and speak only when ask....:hi:
