He's scheduled to fight, but I haven't heard so much as a whisper about it. I wonder if even he knows hes fighting today..sad. Well, hope he gets the win all the same.

This is what he had to say about his training for this fight:
“If I can get back to half of what I was at 26, nobody can beat me. And I believe I’m above half right now."

    WAR WILLIE W!! :ibutt

(if Jones loses, he might give up his delusions of landing a title shot with Huck - so really Williams springing the upset is actually in Roy's best interests health-wise...)

And Williams is a competent fighter. Very ordinary, but if hes hungry enough he may be able to surprise.

he seems to forget what he's fighting atm. And that his only somewhat decent win in 5+ years was a blatant robbery

Well, that's what people said about Jones' last 5 opponents. (the best of whom in reality were Glazewski who got robbed and Fry who didn't even try)

That random guy off the street is 14-8-2 (4) in the pros and if you stepped in with him would be 15-8-2 (5).

Agreed. He's not really any better than those guys, but like you said Fry didnt show up, the last guy hadnt fought in a while, and Glazewski dropped him and won most of the rounds. Roy should win today, but if Williams fights his heart out, then just maybe he has a chance at the upset however unlikely

Williams actually is a step up from Hany Atiyo. :yep

(even if he is the Egyptian p4p #1...which, come to mention it, he isn't, because Ahmed Elbiali :good)

Does anyone have any updates? Apparently he's facing a club fighter.

I went to see if the fight was available and they wanted $20 to watch on the Internet.
