I've not seen you for a while. I'm glad you're back. I haven't seen Serge either. Now be honest, do you really believe what you've wrote? I think you just like to go against the grain. Fancying those guys to have beaten him is one thing, but to favour them is another. Roy was in seek and destroy mode that night. Why would you have favoured a guy like Dariusz? Seriously, who did Dariusz ever beat to make you think he'd have beaten that version of Roy? Forget Joe. Joe would never have fought that version of Roy. It would have took an exceptional fighter to have beaten that version of Roy who was in that mindset.
Be serious for a second. The version of Roy from 2008 was so different from the version from 1997, it's as though they were completely different fighters.
I can't see anybody touching RJJ in his prime. He was p4p #1 for a long time as well, better part of a decade.
Haha. And his heavy steroid abuse too right? All time greatest cheat. Next to James Toney, mayweather, and Tyson. Pathetic
Who would you honestly have favoured over him at his absolute peak? There's guys who would have been a threat, but I wouldn't have favoured anyone over him when he was at SMW.
His win against paper champion Ruiz doesn't mean nearly as much as his delusional fanboys would like to think.
you may have, but at RJJ's peak the bookies wouldn't of favoured the four dudes you mentioned. but I am sure you already knew that. No doubt RJJ vs Darius M would of been a interesting fight while they were both at their peaks. for the record, I don't rate RJJ as the greatest ever p4p at his peak, however, I do think he deserves to be in the debate.
Jones was phenomenal at his best. I can think of guys who would give him a good fight but none off hand that I could say "yeah THIS guy is 60-40 against peak RJJ" Maybe Greb? Of course there's zero footage of him so it's a moot point.
