Ok so the big fight day is coming up in about 9 days and I for one am getting a little keen on this delicious morsel of pugilistic pleasure :-D RJJ VS Lacy and Green VS Dominguez RJJ future HOF had one of his biggest wins for his first world title that feels like 20 years ago over BHOP.....other good wins over Toney and griffin after punching him a few times on the canvas RJJ would wish Tarver was never born while other wins over Woods, Trinidad and Ruiz gave this man his place in history While Lacy with his best wins over Vanderpool and Reid looked like the best thing since sliced bread until he got schooled by JC :yep looks to be coming up way short in this fight. Danny Green fighting on the UC with his biggest win against Stipe Drew's and other noted battles like Green VS Buyer I and late in Buyer II and Lucas looks to have the wood on Dominguez however I have no idea who Dominguez is :hey Anyhow who's looking forward to this fight and who's going to win?
Yeah I am not excited like JIZZ in my pants or anything but I am looking forward to these fights. I think RRJ beats JL by a big points margin. I think Green KO's Domenguez late This sets up Green VS RJJ in Australia late 2009
ALSO...... Jason Litzau's chin will be put up against a once beaten RJJ prospect who's only loss was by KO.. So you know that fight may end sooner rather than later... BJ Flores/Epifanio Mendoza... hope for the best...
regardless of anything else, why does Jones always fight the lesser guys of divisions. They are decent guys, but not the cream of the crop. Then when he finally did fight Calzaghe he lost and people thought he was finished. Fact is Jones never fights the cream of the crop in divisions. He is very much like Floyd Mayweather Jr. Handpicking opponents and then saying he is the best. Lacy has proven to be a big dissapointment, so Roy should beat him.
:huh Roy is done mate...He is like a former major league baseballer finishing his career in the minor leagues. For the most past Roy fought a lot of best fighters available to him when he was at his peak. He is just not the fighter he was, so guys like Lacy and Green are acceptable opponents in my eyes. Though I dont really follow his career and havent for a long time.
Looking for a eary night then MM? I am thinking both fights go a bit longer....i hope....with RJJ and Green winning in or around the 8th round
Bernard Hopkins and James Toney end of story. Throw 3 Calzaghes in there with the RJJ pre-Ruiz/Tarver, and you get a TKO victory for Roy in the 5th. Lesser guys of his weight divisions, wtf really....:nono
Toney was the only really prime guy he fought, and James had the excuse he was weakened. Hopkins was in 1993 when Bernard was young and not near the fighter he was later. Tarver is as good Calzaghe? Calzaghe beat Hopkins and Hopkins easily beat Tarver.
