Not a massive gap between them but Chavez was greater. Chavez couldnt do what Jones did in the ring but RJJ couldnt do what Chavez did either. 2 completely different styles but JCC was old school, sometimes he had like 7 fights a year & he was rarely even run close (nor was Jones in his prime to be fair) Chavez was more respected as a true legend while in his prime than Roy... both are respected now.
I do not see Roy as top 20. No way. A guy who ducked good fighters. He had top 20 talent which was never fully used, but he was not one of the top 20 ever. No way. What gets him there? Both Chavez and Roy are top 30 maybe, with Roy ahead somehow.
