I was listening to ESPN radio yesterday and they had Bert Suger on and he stated that all time P4P he would put Roy Jones in the 90's ! He stated that fighters like Hearns p4p shoud be rated higher than him ..If he were to rate Mayweather all time he'd have him in the 80's above Roy ! Brian Kenny went off on him ..Who else agrees on RJJ's P4P placement all time ?

I don't agree with Bert Sugar (and I'm putting this nicely). Roy in the 90s? Give me a ****ing break! The guy was a dominant force who barely lost ROUNDS in 4 weight classes. I have him in my top 25 of all time. Head to head, he's top 10 at least.

Bert Sugar is a middle-of-the-line historian. He is far too biased towards old fighters from his youth and before his time. He's a great story teller who knows millions of useless facts, but as far as analyzing fights and ranking fighters go, there are MANY posters on here who are miles above him. The fact that he has Tony Zale, Ad Wolgast, and Jimmy Barry above Roy Jones says it all.

It's 2008 Bert, wake up and look at things OBJECTIVELY!

Anyone who puts him lower than 30 doesn't know boxing. I don't care what your name is. Lower than 30, you don't know the game.

Top 15 is reasonable under some criteria.

I'd have him at about 25, I think.

Yeah, it's very laughable. They've got it on DVD now too.

He ranks Frazier and Holmes below Charles and Tunney:-( And there is no mention of Lewis or Holyfield.

When I'm feeling really generous, top 20. But usually, he falls around 25, give or take a spot.

Have you seen our friends 'Janitor's' list?

He's got Langford above Holyfield, Holmes, Tyson & Foreman at HW, not P4P, Heavyweight.:yep
