RJJ petitions loss to Danny Green - wants decision reversed

It's sad to see that kind of thing coming from him. Hell, I knew he was basically fighting on borrowed time, but I never thought I'd see the day when he did something like this after a loss. It's not like this is just immediate post-fight disappointment, either- there's been plenty of time for him to cool down about it and look at it with an honest perspective. :verysad

 

I think he is honestly lying to himself, to come up with anything possible other than just not having it anymore. Though its no excuse for the allegations, its the only thing I can think of.:huh

 

I think you hit the nail on the head man...it's just delusions at this point.

 

I think its more of him being a sore loser IMHO...He has a history of this and this is no different...I respect Roy's past accomplishment but I was just never a big fan of his because of his lack of respect after fights...IF he was to lose, he makes every little excuse and never gives his opponent any credit!

 

Roy got problems!

I am not sure what was worse, this or not wanting to win the 3rd Tarver fight.

I honestly think Roy makes stuff up in his head just so he can feel like he is still the best, and possibly make his kids think that Daddy still has it.

He is too great of a fighter to make excuses after losing to someone that doesn't deserve his name on their resume. Time to hang them up Roy, before you get hurt.:yep

 

Green belted him. Regardless of what stage of Jones' career it happened at, give the guy some credit. He was good enough to fight him so he is good enough to have beaten him - and did

 

It's very sad when you lose contact with the ground and try all sort of thangs to make an unmistakable poor, dark night for ya comes to shine with dim light... Great many others greats have gone where Roy's going - Tyson after Douglas with the long count, Holyfield after Donald not wanting to realize what happened, Moorer after Tua, PDL after Juanma, Hopkins wants to be HW Champ in 2010, Winky and others... Roy was out of his feet with a right to the temple and taking uppercuts in succession. That's it, big fights are out for Jones - he should never have accepted this fight.

Retire from the ring and become a commentator full time Roy. Take Lennox's spot, he is ****ing useless.
