Mayweather's record is deeper but for a guy who is probably going to have people proclaim him as the best fighter of his generation and a top 50 P4P ATG when his career is over, he doesn't really have a signature win worthy of that...Pacquiao in 2009 would have been it.

Jones isn't as deep, you could argue the James Toney win is his signature win and far better than anything Floyd has done but Toney was weight drained and it depends how much you think that contributed to Jones being able to dominate him.

Overall I think Floyd's record is better.

We are talking Floyd and Roy. Being undefeated against Elite competition is a plus. Losing to elite competition is a minus. Is that hard to comprehend? It must be.

Not all 43 of his opponents were elite. In fact, only a few were. Or else Joe Calzaghe is as good or greater than both Roy and Floyd.

Ok you have zero crebility. You can't mount a detailed argument to save your life. Nothing but opinions. And BTW where is my quote where i lied?

You said Del Valle got his ass beat by Hill. Which, if you had seen the fight, you'd know is false.

Second...I'll give you another chance to respond because I can see you're getting desperate as you're forced to actually use your brain:

Not all 43 of his opponents were elite. In fact, only a few were. Or else Joe Calzaghe is as good or greater than both Roy and Floyd.

Elite by name or by the point that the opponent was in their career? Is Roy beating Ruiz at Heavyweight a bigger win that Floyd over Oscar based off where both Oscar and Ruiz where in their career?

20 championship bouts out of 43 matches, looks like the elite level if you ask me.

If Hill didn't beat Devalle's ass then why does he have the win then?

The argument can be made that at the time Floyd fought and beat Corrales, it was nearly as significant as Roy's win over Toney. Diego was ahead of Floyd in P4P discussions at the time.

Toney pretty much disappeared from the elite ranks after the Jones fight and then had a steroid-induced late career renaissance.

Both you fool. The more you try to bend the obvious the worse you lose in the argument.

So to you, Gregorio Vargas was an elite opponent because Floyd fought him in a championship fight.

Oh well then Jones has the better resume. :deal

We can debate all day but you haven't even tried to break it down. At the time Floyd vs Mosley is no greater win than Roy vs McCallum in my opinion and Mike was a damn good boxer. We need to break this thing down and you are afraid to do that bc you know Roy has the better resume.

In no way am I downing Floyd or any other fighter. We can be picky all day. Both guys are two of my favorite of all time so tis is really just a matter of opinion anyways.

Just because you're fighting for a title doesn't mean you're ELITE. If you seriously believe Gregorio Vargas is an elite fighter then we're done chatting because you're dumb as ****
