One of the biggest fail posts I've seen from you.......I'm still shaking my head at that one:-( Roy Jones wouldve made Byrd look like super duper slow ****ing motion:deal
Yes, and that actually helps my point.... Byrd was a legit Heavyweight that took hard shots from many hard hitting heavyweights... Look what happened when he lost muscle mass, his chin went out the window. Roy Jones lost muscle mass also, and very quickly.... That by proof can make a chin weaker. No matter what though, like the above posters were saying.... Nothing Roy could have done would have been ok with you... No matter who he fought, he would have always been ducking someone in your eyes, or running scared loosing all the muscle he put on to fight a dangerous challenger. Rico, you have been truly exposed for the hater you are....:yep
Roy went down to Light Heavyweight and was not KOed until a year AFTER he went back down. Remember he had a fight with Tarver which he won by running the whole fight and then was hit on his Glass Jaw and KOed in 2 fights in a row after his first fight back at 175. Roy had PLENTY of time to adjust back to 175. Roy was KOed not because of weight drain but because his Chin has always been Glass.
In 2003? No doubt about it in my mind. If Roy thought he could have won, I think he'd have taken that fight. As it turns out, he probably should have taken that fight.
Loosing muscle mass can effect you FOREVER, especially at Roy's age. The truth is, he still has not looked even remotely close to the same fighter he was before the weight loss, and he was already out of his prime before that. That to me is proof enough that he has, and never will recover from that. He has also absorbed harder shots than the ones that knocked him out, so why you would totally rule out that the weight loss weakened his body, chin, speed, legs, stamina ect.... is totally beyond me.
Look who Byrd fought at Heavyweight: Golota, McCline, Both Klitschko's these were all men much bigger than him and he often times held his own. But these Roy nuthuggers think Byrd could hang with Super Heavyweights but would lose to their precious Glass Jaw Roy Jones? Who are they kidding? :rofl atsch They are the most delusional nuthuggers out there.
Ruiz BEAT and held his own with some of those same fighters!!!! And Roy SMOKED him, beating Byrd is not out of the question Chico.deal
And according to your hero Ruiz is a "big" Heavyweight. Jones made Ruiz out to sound like godzilla when compared to the guys Byrd fought Ruiz was small. We are talking about a little guy in Byrd fighting the "Super" Heavyweights of his day which he did. Chris Byrd would have smoked Roy and probably would have knocked him out if they had fought at Heavyweight. Roy has always had a Glass Jaw. It is no coincidence that when he started getting hit on the Chin he started getting knocked out cold.
how can you even say this about roy and then ride calzaghes dick all day. Where is the logic in that?
Its also no coincidence that Roy wasn't knocked out until he was 35, after dropping back down from Heavyweight. Byrd was also knocked out at LHW. Weight loss effects fighters, FACT... Proven throughout history. Your double standard makes me sick.
