He proved it when both were in their primes.

Roy looks good. I hope he stays retired and enjoys his great legacy.

Roy already got him when it mattered. Pointless fight, but just as any fight of Roy's ever since losing to Johnson, pointless.

I don't need to see RJJ in the ring ever again, against anyone.

    Well it would prove nothing.

2 outrageously shot fighters going at it?
    What would it prove?

It'd be like Leonard and Hagler having another match now!

    WTF?

Are you punch drunk or have you been dabbling in the crystal meth again?

Toney is a first ballot HOF'er borderline ATG...

Roy also beat Bernard Hopkins with one arm.

Are you now going to argue that Bernard is a borderline HOF worthy fighter?

    I didn't think so.

Now get back in your playpen and let the grownups talk...

    No...

Roy had an injured hand in training camp for the Toney fight, he didn't work the heavy bag at all.. He came out and threw right hands against Toney, the first power shots he threw with the right in a long time. His hand had healed.

He beat Bernard with a broken hand.

But regardless to how bad Jones outclassed Toney or Hopkins, has nothing to do with how great they are as fighters... Both have accomplished great things. Their credentials speak for themselves.
