All 3 Judges gave only the first round to Jones...Without the knockdown.... Jones loses the round

Brave effort by Jones. He didn't go the tank like he has in the past. Calzaghe's work rate is incredible for a big guy. Roy's face a mess by the end of the fight.

 

Yea , You shoud never had doubted him mate ,After Hopkins failed Jones failed , Calzaghe's chin = Granite :deal oh amnd btw if your doing a round by round you should try and stay impartial , i know your upset now but you will see it different tommorow :good

 

whats Shins got to do with things Teke mate ive done a few R4R's over the years over on the main page and been congratulated on my unbias commentating from a few lads worldwide , Your bias when you thought Joe was down and out was not unbiased , i bet you pissed your pants by the end of the fourth lol Ps i got to run , its 07.19 here in beautiful Cardiff :yep

I thought the fight was closer than the judges scorecards indicated. Jones won the first 2 for mine and another along the way somewhere.

But the fight went pretty much how I thought it would except without the KO.

Jones has been done for years now, and it's pointless that he's still around. He can only fight in very small patches now, and against Calzaghe it was going to be a horrible match up.

I wanna see Joe fight again, but not Roy or Hopkins. Dawson would be good to see, but I wont complain if it doesnt happen because at this point in time, Joe wouldn't be able to make as much money off it as he could with someone else.
