Please, Calzaghe is one of the finest fighters of this generation... and he's never tested positive for a banned substance.

Joe Calzaghe held the WBO title for Years , he unified the IBF alongside it when he battered unbeaten Jeff "left Hook " Lacy , he futher unified the 168lbs division when he beat Unbeaten Mikkel Kessler to claim the WBC & WBA ( Real not phoney WBA) titles , he then moved up still unbeaten to challenge a ring ledgend in Bernard Hopkins in Hopkins own back yard with an American ref and three American judges to claim the "Ring " L/heavyweight title at in his first attempt at said weight , now he is fighting another ring ledgend in Roy Jones Jr ( ANOTHER ) fighter you say will kick his arse in America , along the way he has beaten something like 7 recently dethroned champs and three current champs in Lacy , Kessler & Hopkins , he is a nap to be a First ballot IBHOF'r all this achived with two broken hands that doctors told him when he 13 years old would prevent him from even boxing in his fathers shed ever again let alone as a competative amature , Now fair go TEKE even as one of his most hardened haters ive ever seen on an internet forum even you should be man enough to concead Joe Calzaghe is a GREAT boxer with a GREAT resume. either that or your nationalistic bias will forever hold you in its grip and your time spent in the sport will forever be only 50% rewarded with the pleasues it gives .

 

His resume has been very poor, and it's largely due to his and Warren's own doing,.
But, he has stepped it up over the last 3 years.

Lacy and Kessler were considered very dangerous fights to take, and I give him massive credit for facing Kessler.

 

I'm going for Joe on this one. On the plane as I write this and touching down soon.

Teke he has so far fought and beaten EVERYONE that agreed to share a ring with him , possibly the only guy to have a legit claim that Calzaghe has ducked him is Glenn Johnson ( Joe claimed injury prevented him form fighting , it happens ) You can only beat whats out there for you to beat , add to the fact that , Hopkins defo ducked him in his prime and skipped an entire weight division to do so , Winky agree to fight him @ St Pete's in Florida only to get cold feet and fight his old friend & room mate Ike Quarty instead , Pavlik was offered the Calzaghe fight TWICE and refused and we all know the Jermain Taylor story atsch . Joe Calzaghe is a fighter who despite what internet boxing experts poll has fought and beaten everyone in his weight class , How can you question his resume after that ? who should he have fought that he didn't through his own fault ? it amazes me that he is still labled a ducker and slapper by Internet Poll's when he fighst the best out there , Hopkins was labled washed up when Joe Beat him only to relabled an ATG when he defeated the unbeaten Pavlik , back last year Roy Jones was labled washed up and now established boxing pundits & experts worldwide are saying Jones will beat Calzaghe on Sunday morning ? no matter if Joe Ko's Roy and then went onto beat Dawson there will always be the doubters who will claim his resume is **** because he's undefeated , Anyway my year on Aussie ESB is almost at an end but you will be happy to know but i will stay around for another month or so IF Jones wins to except the abuse that will be aimed my way if it happens . :good
