You know the DM fans was calling him a nobody when Jones Knocked him out, so being that it was less then a year after he fought Dm yeah he was a nobody..Hill Griffin Rocco were good fighters problem is DM had help beatting two of the three...Griffin and Rocco were both beatting his ass before some unhappy ending....Alot of funny **** there buddy Outside of those three fights DM's resume was ****ing horrible, its pretty close to being the worst resume of any fighter that held a belt for a couple of years.
He hasnt been in too many wars, hes quite cautious these days, plus his chin isnt great (not glass though) so hes unlikely to take too severe punishment nothing like ali holmes anyway
The consensus among experts and fans (those who have heard of him) alike is is that Erdei is the lineal champ. I dislike him (his management) too.
The only doubtful thing in linear title is its vacancy but right after its established then this tile is not a subject to opinion. I guess nobody would be denying that Hill then Michalczewski kept the linear LHW title if Jones never fought at LHW. Unfortunately for Jones they fought BEFORE Roy ever get in the ring at LHW and what Jones did afterwards no matter to the subject ... Jones was late and linar title was held by DM and now its held by Erdei ... it is no matter of opinion but the recognized fact. Sorry all the Ring champions in the world ... you have to beat Erdei to get this tile no matter you like it or not ... thta is the rule.
What a load of crap. If a lineage is not established then it can't be maintained by anyone. If you believe that Hill v Maske established a lineage, then obviously you believe that Erdei is now the champion through that lineage. If you don't believe that Hill v Maske established a linear champion, then no-one can have continued that lineage from Hill because it never existed. How can it be anything other than a matter of opinion?
Possibly, although opinions can very much be split on the subject. Interestingly, it seems to me, that quite a number of people who hold the consensus view can't actually state why they consider Erdei to be linear, indicating at least that they haven't given the subject much thought and are just parroting received views.
Piper was also a good fighter. But the likes of you wouldn't know that. Harmon wasn't bad either. But yes, a lot of DM's resume was underwhelming.
