i am going to watch it as its part of a very cheap monthly sports package here in the uk, but if i had to pay extra for it, then no i would not .

trinidad moving up 2 weightclasses from a division where he was only an average fighter in, last time out 2 or 3 years ago schooled by a jab, v a fighter who the last 3 times he has faced a top 10 opponent has barely thrown a punch in anger.

i see roy jones throwing the occasional potshot, trindidad having feet stuck in cement to slow to reply and jones perhaps hurting trindiad but refusing to press the action and letting him survive ,win a low key/low punch output fight on points.

I'm not keen on seeing this fight.

They could make a great preview for it by showing footage of these guys a few years ago, but it's a bit misleading considering their form in todays game.

    i agree.
IMO australian tv channels should show this as part as there normal programming and not have it on PPV.

We pretty much have to pay for all our boxing though.

Can you believe Mundine's pro debut was the main event and a PPV?!

    Has there ever been a PPV main event with records like..0 - 0 - 0 V 9 - 10 - 2

Watching Tito and Jones now is similar to watching the beach cricket series of the past players (gooch, border, Lehmann, etc) except the beach cricket guys aren't trying to sell themselves as world beaters anymore.

Nope, I never buy fights but will be sure to catch it a pub/club. Jones still definitely has something left IMO as evidenced in his last 2 fights. While, Tito...we don't know but judging by his last fight, he was totally out of his element.

i will def watch it.... jones still has something left but no confidence, which is the problem, thats why he folds know if he gets hit and jsut covers, but it will be an interesting fight.... these guys are 2 champions and when 2 collide they always bring the fight on....

no confidence? I think he's got that old swagger back, more importantly he seems to be enjoying himself in the leadup to this fight. He dominated Prince Ajamu and Anthony Hanshaw in his last two fights, who are far better calibre of opponents than Mundine is facing.
