Oh my Usyk is too big, but he isn't too good If RJJ was in his prime and the SAME size as Tony Bellew, do you think Anthony would even lay a glove on him? P4p Roy was better than usyk, we are being silly now Say what you want about Ruiz, but he held a world title and little Roy toyed with him Now obviously I'm picking usyk over the Roy we saw at HW and Cw, but he not better than Roy at his prime
Someone is getting paid by the Usyk team to start all these topics. The guy is not that good. Joshua is a huge bum who got destroyed once by fat Andy Ruiz. The current heavyweight division is a real shame. Prime Jones with his massive experience against southpaw wins this.
P4P - Roy An actual H2H match up between the two - Usyk. Too big as well as skilled in his own right with a great engine. He isn't a static target and he isn't John Ruiz.
No I won't I don't think you realise I actually like usyk more than Fury, but he won't beat him That doesn't counter my point that bellew and chisora level fighters would not take rounds off peak jones if similar sized Peak jones better than Floyd/manny Floyd/manny p4p would 100% beat usyk
What is that argument?? Usyk starts slow in a lot of his fights and downloads data just like Loma. He let Chisora punch himself out in 3 rounds and then won the next 9 in a row. Bellew put in a great performance and was gassed out after 6 rounds becauss of the pressure Usyk put on him.
They both wouldn't lay a glove on rjj even if he started slow Floyd/manny/rjj are all much, much better than usyk
Uysk stops him. RJJ with his speed and unorthodox style give Usyk problems early on but Usyk eventually figures him out, breaks him down and stops him. I just think Usyk with his southpaw style, skills and size is just too much for any version of RJJ.
Usyk too big....................and skillful. I think there's actually a number of CWs and a few HWs that (pre HW) Roy could've beaten. Usyk ain't one of them. Do I think Roy was better than Usyk? Beyond a shadow of a doubt. I also think Usyk would've stopped him brutally, even the Superman version.
Roid's only win over anyone of any note above LHW is slow plodder and very favourable stylistic match up John ''Huggy Bear'' Ruiz who wasn't even allowed to employ his bread and butter and what got him there ie. hug and all of a sudden this glass-jawed savage puncher avoiding walking PED factory is beating a super talented fast and athletic super tough, fit and skillful magician like Usyk Roy would never have even been a thing without his roids or if he'd run a gauntlet of savage punchers like Usyk has done since he moved up to the world level. That pathetic old lady glass-jaw of his would've been exposed very quickly had he done so and if you think he's beating VADA testing you're smoking meth. People always citing Usyk's performances where he under performed or wasn't at his best but guess what he still won all those fights and he won them in his opponent's backyards Whereas, conversely, they conveniently ignore the fact that Roid got outboxed by a literal dwarf and was so frustrated he cracked said dwarf with not one but two full power savage roid bombs as he was down on the canvas, got dropped heavily by Lou Delvalle, knocked out in the amateurs by John Reid, and KTFO x 5, beat a clearly weight drained James Toney and a green B-Hop, and be lost every single time he fought one of his opponents in their backyards, twice by hilarious face sucking the canvas out cold KO for an eternity, sans once and that was a SD robbery he clearly lost Savage Puncher Central Glen Kelly Prince Badi Ajamu Richard Frazier David Telesco Anthony Hanshaw Percy Harris Zine Eddine Benmakhlouf Max Alexander Pawel Glazewski Eric Watkins Paul Vasquez Hany Atiyo Derrick Harmon Vinny Paz Antoine Byrd Eric Lucas Otis Grant Eric Harding Reginald Johnson Scott Sigmon Rodney Moore Vyron Philips Bryant Brannon Mighty Midget Montell Clint Woods The great Mike McCallum's grandfather's shot ghost Lou Del Valle Plodder Glen Johnson Antonio Tarver who couldn't even drop glass jaw Dawson in 24 rounds
Agreed, Usyk has great footwork and eventually he gets into the right position and lands hard on Roy, and we all now what happens when Roy gets hit cleanly.
You forgot to mention he is the GOAT above Ali. I am reading comments in this topic and my jaw is dropping to the floor.
Usyk is the GOAT Dropping to the floor like Roid whenever he took a solid pop on the whiskers? Imagine how many more HL reel KO losses Roid we would've been treated to had he not been jacked silly on his roids and spent his entire prime avoiding legit bangers and savage punchers like they had leprosy?
