You have to favour Jones here, Eubank didnt like to lead and there is no way he can stand back and have success countering the much faster Jones. Jones is too fast and busy and I suspect he would have won nearly every round. Eubank is too tough and strong to be stopped though. It would have been a good win for Jones to have, they are a bit similiar Chris and him in that they rarely fought top opposition.
Roy made James Toney (and he was THE MAN at that time) look like a novice. And he was much more than Chris ever was! You couldn't pick a worser opponent for Eubank than Roy. He was everything that Chris avoided in his career, had all the tools to trouble him, would break him down mentally and would shut him out by a huge margin. 10-8 rounds would be by the ton here in favour of Roy. It really is a bad match up for Chris. The worst of that era for him, by far.
Jones was more skilled, more consistant and a harder worker. It'd go the distance but prime for prime Eubank gets beat as bad as Toney did.
Jones would pitch a shut out here. Eubank's low hands and Jones speed would be target practice time for Roy Not many similar opponents, except Malinga https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UrqyVNWNIzg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ynlh5FDULjI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HOwYGJ_dtVo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mIO9zLS7UjA And Thornton (lost a competitive decision to Eubank) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yabNe2NzivU Jones was just a couple of level above everyone else back then
